I
am working with the plant pathology program at CBARC to
help establish molecular screening protocols in the research
of root diseases of cereal crops. My experience is in
traditional molecular and genetic techniques, recently
with a focus on marker assisted selection in wheat breeding.
I am here for a limited amount of time and hope to enable
this program to utilize some of the DNA marker technology
and genetic resources that are available.

Information:
I
am enjoying exploring a drier side of Oregon and my
spare time is spent chasing after my infant son, taking
my dog for long walks, and generally spending time outside
in the yard and garden. As time permits, I am also an
avid knitter, forever trying to use up all of my spare
yarn.
